Lego architecture masterclass

When Moor Allerton Primary School PTA asked if we’d like to help with their school fete, we wanted to do something a bit more fun than donating a raffle prize.

As a local architects’ practice in North Leeds, we see many budding LEGO architects when visiting our clients, but we never have time to join in and get busy with the bricks ourselves.

So, we set up a room full of LEGO and invited the kids and grown-ups to let their imagination run riot with the brief to build the perfect den. The Mesh team were on hand to help with technical and creative challenges.

It was impressive to see the creativity and concentration of the children who took part creating inspiring garden dens, underwater hide outs, dens on wheels, flying sheds and all sorts of fantasy buildings.
