Digital Sustainability

How our site tries to reduce the impact on the environment and reduces CO2 consumption where we can

Websites in general are getting bigger and bigger, with internet traffic accounting for more CO2 emissions than air travel!

Our website is built with sustainability in mind and has a dark-mode function that switches all colours to our dark grey. This helps reduce your energy consumption when browsing our website as dark colours take less energy to display than light, bright colours, with white being the most power-hungry.

Our site is also green-hosted, meaning it is all held on servers powered by 100% renewable energy. This all contributes to us trying to reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible.

We bring this ethos into our work - you can read more about our Passive House work here.
